BYLAWS RELATING TO WATER SUPPLY IN MTUNZINI

The Local Council of Mtunzini, acting under the authority of section 268 (1) of the Local Authorities Ordinance, No. 25 of 1974, hereby publishes the subjoined amendment to the existing water supply bylaws as made by the Local Council at its meeting held on 23 January 1995, which amendment shall come into operation on the date of publication thereof.

Offenses and Penalties

Any person who

a) Contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of these bylaws or of any term, condition, restriction, requirement, notice or order imposed or issues in terms thereof;

b) gives any information required by or in connection with any provisions referred to in paragraph (a) which is false or misleading;

c) resists, hinders, obstructs, molests or interfaces with any police officer or employees of the Council in the performance of his duties or the exercise of his powers under these bylaws; or

d) causes or permits any other person to commit any of the aforesaid acts;

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to the maximum penalty prescribed for the offence in terms of section 266 (7) of the local Authorities Ordinance No. 25 of 1974.
